The 3rd European Carbon Farming Summit took place in Padova (Italy) from 16 to 19 March 2026. Around 700 people attended the conference. OSA was represented within the REFOREST project by Dr Alina Syp. The event highlighted the importance of carbon farming as a tool to support the transition of agriculture towards greater sustainability, provided it has a beneficial impact on biodiversity and soil health and is inclusive for farmers. Agroforestry fits perfectly with the objectives of such a transition. During the workshop “Unlocking synergies among agroforestry actors through a participatory approach”, organised by the DIGITAF project, a poster and a presentation entitled “Assessment of carbon farming practices in Poland” were presented.
